Recovering from Injury

Chiropractic treatment affects your nervous system, your muscles and your joints. Most people understand it's great at managing back pain, but why are many athletes seeing chiropractors?

As a Sports Chiropractor, I look at how your whole body is functioning in order to improve its performance.

You can wait for an injury before finding out why. Or you can prevent injury by finding and fixing the smaller faults and preventing them from building up. If we can do this then we're optimising the way your body is working. This could affect your sport.

When we identify an issue I may use a number of techniques to fix it;  muscle and fascia release, dry needling, taping, rehab exercises....

But like most chiropractors, my main tool is joint manipulation. This can have an immediate impact on your muscles.  It's quick, safe, painless and effective.
